Training Assessment Workshops
The Whistle Stop Tour “On Training”, guided by the infamous Madeline McNamara, offered women theatre practitioners a free 2-part workshop to help you to set goals, identify your training needs and create a Plan to meet those needs.
“Immensely empowering and practical”
Coupled with an informal informational presentation about Magdalena Aotearoa and the Magdalena Project, this was an inspiring, provocative and fun event.
” … a highly invaluable opportunity to hone in on where one is at with one’s practice and where one needs to go – an opportunity we rarely give ourselves, especially amidst our busy and fragmented lives as women.” Dunedin participant
The workshop was given in two 2-3 hour sessions, offering:
- practical exercises to help identify your training needs and how to meet them;
- focused time to set goals and create a written training plan;
- the opportunity to network with local women theatre practitioners;
- information about Magdalena Aotearoa and the Magdalena Project.
Dates were as follows:
June 10: Auckland
June 17-18: Wellington
