This is just to let you know about the two shows I’m doing in Upper Hutt (Sept 3) and Paekakariki (Sept 5)I’ve changed the name of the show from Cynthia & Gertie Ride Again to Waiting for Gertie, a much better title. (Thank you to the person who suggested it one night at Circa last year!)

Helen Moulder
Helen has been working as an actor and singer for nearly 50 years. Her theatre highlights include A Toast to Melba, Wit, Doubt and Vita & Virginia (Circa), My Fair Lady and Suddenly Last Summer (Court), Hamlet and Vita – a Fantasy (La Boite, Brisbane). She writes and performs her own shows, written with Australian Sue Rider – Meeting Karpovsky, (with Sir Jon Trimmer) Playing Miss Havisham, Gloria’s Handbag and The Bicycle & the Butcher’s Daughter. Helen has a comic musical character, a fading opera singer – Cynthia Fortitude – and has created two shows with the late Rose Beauchamp -The Legend Returns and Cynthia & Gertie Go Baroque. She has also been to Japan four times with Stetson Productions in A Phantom of the Opera.Her film and television credits include Pictures, Close to Home, Country GP, Erebus – the aftermath, The Wall, Food for Thought, Sweet As and Growing Still.
