Pōneke artist/writer Jo Randerson ONZM invites you deep into her personal creative process with this series of ‘theatrical lectures’ – live presentations of material in development towards her upcoming book Secret Art Powers. Working on her feet in direct and intimate contact with the audience, Jo teases out her vision of how creative powers or ‘disruptions’ can re-shape our world at this urgent, uncertain moment in history.
In this event Jo will introduce you to the third and fourth disruptions – Multiplicity and Failure. Become a part of the Secret Art Powers universe, as it expands from the stage to the page on Saturday 4 September, 6pm at City Gallery Wellington.
Secret Art Powers is a creative non-fiction project presented in partnership with the New Zealand Festival of the Arts and supported by the Michael King Writers Centre, culminating in a book due for publication in 2022.
