Panel Discussion: Giving & Receiving Feedback, with input from last year’s presenting artists and other practitioners including Jan Bolwell.

Two readings, each approximately 15-20 mins followed by discussion. First Jan Bolwell with a new script about the painter Frances Hodgkins, and second Diane Spodarek with In the Cellar of my Heart, a solo.

Janet Dunn – live thesis presentation; followed by provocations by Rachel Baker for actors and directors. Approximately one hour each.

Work-in-progress presentation: a gesture through the flames by Helen Varley Jamieson – cyberformance. 15 mins, followed by discussion. And if we finish early we can go out to Paekakariki early and swim in the ocean.

Excursion to Paekakariki to see Gaylene Preston’s new film Lovely RITA, about the painter Rita Angus. This event is organised by the Paekakariki Film Club and costs $12, which includes food and the film. The programme begins at 7.30pm (eat and mingle with Gaylene) and the film will be screened at 8.30pm. BYO beer/wine.

Sunday 23 March

open rehearsal with Sugu Pillay and four actors, working on the physicalisation of scenes from her script about the “torpedo women”, female Tamil Tigers.
